Mon anniversaire

This is going to be a blog dedicated to things I notice, think about, care about, and generally feel like telling someone about. So for this entry, I picked one that fits all four...my birthday!

I will be turning twenty years old in a month...which is SO NOT OKAY with me.  If I could, I think I'd be sixteen forever. Or maybe eighteen. Eighteen was a good year. Anyway, since I have to face the inevitable, I might as well get presents for it. Thank god for the person who invented that tradition. Probably a woman.

So, without further ado, my birthday wishlist for 2008:

1. World Peace (a girl can dream, can't she?)

2. Obama as president (yes, we can did!)

3. My 12-year-old metabolism back (haha...riiiight)

4. Some old man moccasin slippers from L.L. Bean(My friend had them at college last year, I stole them whenever possible. now that I have a pair, I LOVE THEM!! Thanks, AR)

5. A family cruise

6. Gaspard Ulliel, Adam Brody, or JRM as a boyfriend

7. To visit my sister at her college in the fall, preferably for halloween (The visit kicked ass)

8. Complete eradication of the state of New Mexico (excluding Las Cruces), and for the chasm to magically close up and smush together making TX and AZ closer together

9. A Unicorn Vs. Narwhal Playset (No, really)(Thanks colleen!)

10. Down With Love and Thank You For Smoking (I used to own both, but somehow during my first year at college, they disappeared)

11. Anything (everything?) from my Urban Outfitters wishlist*

12. Ditto my Fred Flare wishlist*

13. Annnnd my perpetual kid wishlist*

14. Unlimited airfare to to Phoenix, AZ from wherever I am

15. While I'm dreaming, a vacation home in Fiji, one in Corsica, and one in Ireland.

16. How about the ability to speak and understand and write fluently in every language worldwide? Pretty awesome.

17. Night Ripper CD by Girl Talk

18. Unlimited funds on iTunes

19. Hell, unlimited funds for life (any money, really, will do)
